Top Maryland Events This Spring

Winter is finally loosening its grip, the days are getting longer, and Marylanders are ready to get
back outside. Whether you’re craving baseball, farmers markets, food festivals, or a day trip to
the shore, there’s no shortage of fun things happening within a short drive from Baltimore this
spring.

If you’ve been hibernating all winter, consider this your official excuse to get out of the house.
Here are some great events happening through the end of April to kick off the season.

⚾ Orioles Opening Day

March 26 – Oriole Park at Camden Yards

Spring in Baltimore doesn’t officially begin until Opening Day at Camden Yards.
The Orioles kick off their 2026 home season against the Minnesota Twins, and downtown
Baltimore will be buzzing with orange and black. Even if you don’t have tickets, the energy
around Camden Yards is electric. Bars and restaurants fill up early, fans pour into the streets,
and everyone is ready to see the O’s take the field.
If you want to experience one of Baltimore’s best traditions, this is it.

🥓 Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival

of room to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

🧺 Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar Returns

Sundays starting in April – Under the JFX (Downtown Baltimore)

The Baltimore Farmers’ Market is one of the best Sunday morning traditions in the city. Local
farmers, bakers, coffee roasters, and artisans gather under the Jones Falls Expressway to sell
fresh produce, pastries, handmade goods, flowers, and some incredible breakfast foods.

Grab a breakfast sandwich, browse local vendors, and enjoy a laid-back morning downtown.

🌷 Spring Farm Stands & Garden Centers Opening

Spring also means the return of local farm stands and garden centers. Many local farms begin
opening their stands in late March and early April with early produce, fresh baked goods,
flowers, plants, and seasonal treats. It’s the perfect time to start planning your garden or grab
some fresh ingredients for spring cooking.

Some of our local favorites to check out include:

● Richardson Farms (White Marsh)
